One Hundred Thousand Welcomes!

Welcome

To The Scottish American Society

The Scottish American Society

is a group of people interested in the culture and history of Scotland and her people.  You don’t even have to have any Scottish, we are open to participation by anyone interested in things ‘Scotcentric.”

We meet regularly, either in person or via Zoom, to enjoy each other’s company and share our knowledge of Scottish history and culture.

Our Objectives

We host a tent in the clan village at the Ohio Scottish Games, where members and friends may visit and rest.  We host a Burns Supper in January, and socials to celebrate Tartan Day and St. Andrews Day.

Our site will feature articles on the traditional aspects of Scottish history and culture; the battles, tartans, clans, highland games, the Loch Ness monster, music, dancing, and bagpipes.

But we also intend to paint a broader picture of Scotland, the Scots and Scottish-Americans who have made significant contributions to our area, America, and the world.
